Mark Hill
I have more than 20 years experience in corporate
communications working both as a consultant and in-house. Senior
positions have
included Director of Public Affairs at cable tv company Telewest,
Head of Business to Business Communications at ‘Top 50’ PR
consultants Pielle and four years spent as Head of HR and Communication
at Post Office Counters (SW).
It was whilst working at the Post Office that I saw
how internal communication can be used to drive business success
by changing cultures
and attitudes. It has been my primary focus ever since.
My experience covers everything from editing house
magazines to undertaking strategic reviews of communication channels
and structures.
Before
setting up Tailor-Made Communication I worked as an independent
consultant - my clients included AXA, mobile phone operator O2
and IBM.
I am an active member of ‘Communicators in Business’ and
founded the CiB’s Senior Communicators Forum in the South
West.
